Swati Bhardwaj, MBBS, MD, is a pathologist with subspecialty expertise in genitourinary and gynecologic pathology. She completed fellowship training in genitourinary pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by fellowship training in gynecologic, placental and perinatal pathology at Cedars-Sinai. She previously completed residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Bhardwaj’s clinical and academic interests span genitourinary and gynecologic pathology, with particular interests in prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular, ovarian and endometrial neoplasia. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in multidisciplinary research, medical education and professional leadership.

Dr. Bhardwaj has held numerous leadership positions in national pathology organizations, including serving as chair of the College of American Pathologists Residents Forum. Her contributions to pathology, education, reaserch and leadership have been recognized with several honors, including the College of American Pathologists Meritorious Service Award, election to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, recognition on The Pathologist Power List and selection as an American Society for Clinical Pathology Forty Under 40 honoree. Her academic career is centered on integrating diagnostic excellence, collaborative research and education to advance patient care.
