Kathleen Breda, NP, MSN, BBA, AGACNP-BC, ONP-C, GRN, is the Associate Director of Orthopaedic Clinical Programs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She is a certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner and orthopaedic nurse practitioner focused on advancing innovative, age-friendly, and value-based models of musculoskeletal care. 

At Cedars-Sinai, Breda developed and oversees a broad portfolio of orthopaedic clinical programs, including the Geriatric Fracture Program, Bone Health Program, Elective Joint Program, Complex Joint Revision Program, Move To Recover (MoToR) program, Skeletal Dysplasia Program, Age-Friendly Health Initiative, and CMS Orthopaedic BPCI-A and TEAM programs. Through this work, she partners with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, reduce variation in care, strengthen operational performance, and align clinical innovation with quality, efficiency, and value. 

Her work has earned the ANCC Magnet Structural Empowerment Nursing Excellence Award and multiple Trailblazer Awards from NICHE. She is also published in Health Services Research and other high-impact journals and is a featured podium presenter at national conferences. Before joining Cedars-Sinai, Kathleen gained clinical experience as a nurse practitioner and staff nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she received the Yvonne L. Munn Nursing Research Award. Her earlier 25-year career in high-tech business brings a distinctive strategic and operational perspective to her clinical leadership.
