BIO
I am a board-certified sports medicine specialist with advanced fellowship training at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Since entering practice in 2018, I have had the privilege of caring for thousands of patients. My approach combines evidence-based treatment and advanced surgical techniques with compassionate, individualized care.
My commitment to sports medicine is deeply personal. As a former elite collegiate athlete, I understand firsthand the physical and emotional challenges of injury and the importance of returning not only to sport, but also to a sense of confidence and well-being. This experience shaped my dedication to helping patients of all ages recover from injury, optimize performance, and maintain active, healthy lives.
My clinical practice focuses on knee and shoulder conditions, with a particular interest in women’s sports medicine and the care of female athletes and active women. My background as an athlete has given me a personal appreciation for the distinct challenges women may encounter in sports and orthopaedic care. I am committed to advancing research that addresses the needs of female athletes, improves our understanding of sex-specific injury patterns and treatment considerations, and ultimately leads to more individualized and effective care for women in sports.
Throughout my training and career, I have worked alongside internationally recognized leaders in sports medicine and remained engaged with advances in orthopaedic surgery and medical technology. I have authored research published in peer-reviewed journals, collaborated with leading medical technology companies, and cared for athletes affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Loyola Marymount University, and local high school athletic programs. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to thoughtful innovation and to translating emerging evidence into meaningful improvements in patient care.
Above all, I strive to understand each patient’s individual goals and provide the knowledge, guidance, and treatment necessary to help them return to the activities that matter most. Outside of medicine, I enjoy an active Southern California lifestyle with my husband and our two daughters. I can often be found supporting my children’s athletic pursuits, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying the region’s vibrant culinary scene with my family.
